Glenn’s First Birthday
We celebrated Glenn's first birthday with the traditional messy cake routine. It was lots of fun seeing Glenn attack the cake and get messy. Amanda really had fun doing the decoration and the cake making.
Then after a bath, Glenn got to open (with parental supervision) his birthday gifts.
After my finals, we had our first “Christmas” and we opened most of our gifts before we left to go visit family.
Then we embarked on a long plane ride to visit both Amanda’s and my family. We were grateful that Glenn was an angel both coming and going, hardly making a peep other than giggling here and there.
While visiting with Amanda’s family, we got to spend some time out in the snow and also visiting with extended family.
Then after, we traveled to visit with my family. We got to go lots of places and see lots more people.
We cam back home after all of the fun traveling and visiting with family. We started getting back to a normal schedule. We started to see Glenn become more mobile and getting into more and more things and onto more and more things. PS- he has started to stick out his tongue often while he is concentrating!
While out with our family we looked at some baby pictures of both Amanda and I to see who looked more like Glenn, to finally come to a conclusion. We scanned some pictures of me from my sisters scrapbook photos, here below. (I apologize for putting potentially embarrassing pictures of my family.
