Spring & Summer

Happy Summer

We have done a bit of traveling and other interesting things in the last number of months.

Our kids have continued to grow and change. Glenn has really enjoyed outdoor activities whether snow or sun.  We got to make some fun things in the snow in our common backyard. Kayla has been getting taller, and faster in her walking.

Kayla had her second treatment (and probably her last) in April.  Things went well with it, and things have healed well.  Glenn also came with and had lots of fun watching cars go by in the parking garage. Amanda’s parents happened to be in SLC for the day, so we were able to meet up with them for lunch and visited a few places around SLC.

Easter was fun and the kids enjoyed time outside hunting for eggs.

Kayla and Glenn generally get along alright, in fact they sometimes like being around each other they have loads of fun, and at night they will sometimes stay up giggling and entertaining each other. Glenn likes getting books from the library and so does Kayla.  She also loves playing on Glenn’s bed and drinking from his sippy cups.

In May we visited Craters of the Moon National Monument.  It was pretty cool. Then later we went to visit my grandfathers grave over Memorial Day Weekend.

In June Amanda’s brother got married, so we she and the kids went out a week early and stayed with her parents a while visiting.  They stayed in SLC for a day to visit one of Amanda’s roommates, then got to go to the zoo.

After that the kids enjoyed lots of time with grandma & grandpa and loved being able to play outside and in the water.
