Hi Everyone. We haven’t have too many interesting things happen this fall, but here are some of the things that we have done that we have some pictures of.
EAST/WEST EYE CONFERENCE
I (Paul) attended the East/West Eye Conference this October in Cleveland, OH. It was a pretty fun time. I went up to Cleveland on Thursday night, and stayed in Downtown Cleveland and was ready to attend the conference bright and early Friday morning. I attended a few of the lectures and also was a “guinea pig” during one workshop to help Optometrists practice new skills/procedures that have been added over the last little bit. I also attended a little hors d’ouevre mingle with the Dr’s that I work with and met and talked with the current and president-elect for the AOA (American Optometric Association). Then I came back to Columbus late Friday evening, so I could study for a test the next week.

Halloween…
This Halloween was pretty fun. We started the fun with a party that a couple of my classmates had. Then we carved pumpkins. It was fun, but more work than planned because we tried some of the more tricky plans that you can get with the carving kits. The best part, for Amanda at least, is she actually got to hand out candy. Last year we missed it, because here in Columbus they don’t actually do trick or treating on Halloween, they do it usually a day or two before (they call it beggars' night). This year she was prepared, and was really excited to see a lot of the neighborhood kids come trick or treating. Below are the pumpkins that we carved out.
BABY…
Here are some updated pictures that have to do with the baby. Some of Amanda and some of the nursery (which is almost now completely ready to go). The other half is not quite so finished looking.
Most recent picture of Amanda.
