Since Amanda was not feeling well for a while during the first part of her pregnancy, she would sometimes rest on the couch, which Glenn quickly picked up.
Also, Glenn got into some trouble with a hot oven door. While Amanda was trying to put something into the oven, he came around the corner, and before she could put anything down, he had placed his hand on the door. There were a couple of hours of crying, with us trying to figure out how to calm him down and help his hands. We called my wound care specialist brother and bandaged him up good. We took him to his pediatrician, and he said it really wasn’t too bad, so we just continued to put ointment and bandage his hands for a week. His hands kind of looked like little boxer gloves.
Our summer garden has been a little disappointing. It has been very hot, and very dry, so many of the plants we have planted before, did not do as well. But, the last few weeks we have had some zinnias, asters, glads, 4-o'clocks, and a couple other really start blooming.
some random cuteness. (always with the eating pics?!?)
We also had the opportunity to go and visit family this past month. This also included an aunt’s wedding, where everyone got all dressed up.
Then after we came home, we had visitors from Amanda’s family come here. They visited lots of fun places including Kirtland, Amish farms, gardens, etc.
